How to create and edit categories/labels.
To create categories or topics, you need to use Labels, these labels can be added on a post per post basis or in bulk edit mode.
ADDING CATEGORIES TO A POST
To add a Label to a post, go to the POST SETTINGS section at the right of the post editor, open the LABELS section and type the category name. If you want to add more than one, separate them with a comma. Once you have a Label added to a post, it will appear below the text box, you don’t have to type it every time you need it.
BULK EDITING CATEGORIES/LABELS
To bulk edit labels, go to the POSTS section, select the posts you want to edit, click on the Labels button , and click on the label you want to add to the selected posts.
To create and add a new label, follow the previous directions, but click on NEW LABEL…, type the new label name and apply.
To remove a label, click the ALL LABELS button and select the label you want to remove.
You’ll see that your posts list changes to show posts that have that label only, select all of them, click on the Labels button , and click on the label you want to remove.
If your posts list it’s distributed in more than one page, you need to repeat the previous steps as posts are per page.
ADDING CATEGORY PAGE TO THE MENU
To add a category link to the menu, open your menu gadget and follow your template instructions. Labels URLs are usually like this:
Labels are case sensitive, so you have to type the label name exactly as you created it, even with spaces between words.
